The Potsdam Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) and the ZZF offer a training programme for dog groomers in salons that is unique in Germany: The one-year certificate course “Dog Grooming and Service IHK”, based on nationwide standardised criteria, concludes with a recognised IHK certificate after successful completion of a practical skills assessment. The aim of the structured course is to impart practice-oriented and scientifically sound knowledge of professional dog grooming as well as fundamental business management skills for running a company.
