At the world’s biggest marketing platform for the international pet industry, manufacturers, wholesalers and service providers from over 60 countries present products for pets and innovative pet supplies. This makes the world-leading Interzoo a key source of inspiration for the international pet industry. Trade visitors get a global market overview of the latest pet food products, grooming aids and accessories for four-legged pets, birds, ornamental fish and terrarium animals.

Happy faces, personal exchange and international business
Finally back at the trade fair, finally get to know each other in person again, exchange ideas, touch products and do business: As the organizer of the world's leading trade fair for the international pet industry Interzoo, WZF GmbH – Pet Industry Services was pleased to see happy faces from international visitors and exhibitors during the four days of the fair from 24 to 27 May 2022 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. A total of around 28,000 trade visitors from 129 countries came to see for themselves the latest articles and services for dogs, cats, fish and many other pets from a total of 1,329 exhibitors from 59 countries.

Interzoo is not only the innovation engine of the industry, but also connects the people of the global pet world. No other trade fair for pets supplies brings together so many decisionmakers and experts from industry and trade.
To experience the industry, customers, trends and developments with all our senses again – that's what we're looking forward to the most! To strengthen existing relationships, but also to gain new impressions, because certainly not only in our company a lot has happened during the pandemic. In any case, our customers can look forward to some news from TRIXIE.
Our entire team is eager to finally be in personal and lively exchange with our customers and interested parties again and to be able to present our new articles, POS solutions, cooperations and ideas face-to-face.
We see Interzoo as an opportunity for an open and inspiring exchange with personalities and animal lovers from all over the world. We will certainly create many ideas and strategies there again and the starting signal for one or the other success story will certainly be given at the fair.
Interzoo has been the highlight of the global pet industry for decades. It was all the more painful to have to miss the event because of Corona. What everyone was missing, the personal meeting, the conversation without microphone and screen, the presentation, seeing and touching of the new products - this will be possible again this year. I'm looking forward to that.
The opportunity to present our products, which so far was only in part possible in China and Italy, to the world's largest trade audience now, with all exclusive product lines and especially for the first time to the German specialist trade, fills us with many positive expectations.
Interzoo gives us the opportunity to meet many business partners in person for the first time in two years. We can also present our brand world of Happy Dog and Happy Cat in a haptic and emotional way again. We are looking forward to this, as the best communication technology cannot replace interpersonal exchange.
After a long time, we will be very happy to meet our customers again face to face.We can show to the world our progression and future plans. We can check what our colleagues are doing in the market.
Interzoo gives us the opportunity to broadening our commercial horizons, building new relationships, and exchanging information. We can meet our existing customers and new potential customers from all over the world, whom we can show our new products and highlight our wide assortment. Also we can increase our brand awareness and of course close some deals.
After two years in which direct customer conversations were only possible digitally or to a limited extent, we are now pleased to have the opportunity to exchange ideas with our customers again on site at Interzoo. Our goal at the trade fair is to present the innovations and assortments from the Hagen Group brand portfolio to as large a customer base as possible and to inspire them for our products and concepts.
Most manufacturers are represented at the fair, which allows participants to get an overview of the latest trends and how and in which direction the entire pet supplies market is developing.
We are looking forward to Interzoo very much and especially to the personal exchange with our customers, which was not possible in this form for a long time due to the pandemic situation. With a new look of our booth, an international digital training academy and some innovative new products, in which we will focus on alternative protein sources among other things, we would like to convince many new and existing customers of the performance and product portfolio of our brand Dr.Clauder ́s. With the "Vision 2030 – For a happier living between humans and pets around the world", we are setting a clear sign for the future and, in addition to newly defined corporate values, are focusing on the health of dogs and cats.
Interzoo is the obvious place for me to meet nearly everyone who I need to talk to, discuss with, and collaborate with on the global pet trade scene; be it commercial actors, trade association colleagues or other stakeholders in this fabulous industry.
My very first Interzoo, back in 1988, truly opened my eyes to the internationality, versatility, professionalism, and size of the pet industry. I see Interzoo playing an immense role in being the leading international meeting place for pet trade people. Now – after two years of pandemic – we all need physical meeting places more than ever before, and I am looking forward to seeing you in Nürnberg.
Even though the pet industry and thus the cooperation with partners and suppliers from all over the world has become increasingly digital in recent years, no web meeting can replace the personal exchange and direct experience of products and innovations. I am therefore all the more pleased to meet many familiar and new faces at Interzoo 2022 and to finally be able to experience again what makes our entire industry so special.
Finally another real event. This is certainly the opinion of many of us who have sorely missed the personal exchange within the industry over the past two years. Although digital formats will continue to exist, they will certainly also be flanked by selected real events in the future. Even if participation in such events will be even more selective. Due to this mixture of real and digital, synergies arise and we can use the positive effects with regard to the boost of digitization and build on them.
For our cooperation and for me personally, Interzoo is an important indicator of current developments and trends. Many manufacturers focus on the Interzoo date when developing their innovations. In this respect, I am particularly curious to see which products are available in the field of sustainability, how manufacturers deal with the current challenges of the industry and what new developments there are. And of course, the personal exchange will certainly have an even greater significance this year.
We appreciate the innovative power of this international event. For us, the focus is particularly on innovations in the food and non-food sector as well as in the service sector – i.e. the trends of tomorrow, as supplementary elements for our product range and our services. In addition, we look forward to exchanging ideas with existing and potential cooperation partners, both at a national and at a European level.
