Apply now for the Interzoo Sustainability Award: The deadline for submissions is February 28, 2026

Entries for the award are open to manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, retailers, NGOs, and cooperation consortia from the international pet industry who are committed to integrating sustainability into their companies and organizations. Applications are possible until 28 February 2026.

The new Interzoo Sustainability Award recognizes outstanding initiatives and business solutions in the pet industry that demonstrably contribute to one or more of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  We are looking for initiatives that are strategically relevant, supported by senior management and embedded in core business activities in the long term.

Decision process and Award Ceremony

From all entries received by the end of February 2026, the expert jury will select three finalists. These finalists will be invited to present their initiatives to the audience of the Interzoo Sustainability Conference on 11 May 2026. Following the pitch presentations, conference participants and jury members will jointly vote on the winner. The winner will then be rewarded with the Interzoo Sustainability Award during the official Interzoo opening ceremony that evening.

New Interzoo sustainability study in 2026

A new edition of the renown Interzoo sustainability study will be conducted in 2026 by Antwerp Management School (AMS). At the Interzoo Sustainability Conference, experts and market participants from the international pet industry can look forward to an interactive workshop with Dr Jan Beyne (AMS), who will present the results. Dr Beyne's analysis will provide conference participants with cutting-edge insights and practical findings on the factors influencing the integration and management of sustainability, and the challenges involved.
