With the brand relaunch, the world's leading trade fair for pet supplies wants to express its dynamism and innovative strength, adequately reflect the diverse product segments relating to the great variety of pets and at the same time ensure that all target groups have access to digital offerings.
On the one hand, the new design points to the future, and on the other, ‘we are building on the recognisability and strength of our traditional brand’, explains Gordon Bonnet, Managing Director of WZF – Pet Industry Services. We are also creating ‘a design world that meets the high demands of digital branding and emphasises the professionalism of the world's leading trade fair.’ This applies in particular to the iconographic logo of the world's leading trade fair. Its uniqueness and recognisability have been retained in the new look.
‘The colour green has accompanied Interzoo for a long time. Thanks to the variation of different shades of green in the new key visual, together with the simplification of the logo, we have achieved a strong depth effect in our visual language,’ explains Dr Rowena Arzt, Head of Exhibitions at WZF. ‘With the pet silhouettes, we are also honouring the numerous product segments that are presented at our world's leading trade fair - after all, products for pets take centre stage at Interzoo.’
The new key visual was devised by the creative agency Lekkerwerken from Wiesbaden, Germany. Managing Director Patrick Jacobi comments: ‘The image with animal silhouettes in a stencil spray look and bright colours on dark green combines emotionality, modernity and diversity and positions Interzoo as an innovative, lively and sustainable meeting place for the pet industry.’
