ACTASTIL® HYDROGEL is intended for ophthalmic use in dogs, cats, non-DPA horses,and pet rabbits, consisting of a sterile, isotonic saline solution with N-acetylcarnosine andcarboxymethylcellulose.

Thanks to its muco-adhesive, visco-elastic and moisturising properties similar to thelachrymal film, it acts by forming a defensive barrier on the ocular surface with lubricating, antioxidantand anti-free radical capacities, protecting and repairing ocular tissues (crystalline lens,cornea and conjunctiva) in situations of ocular discomfort such as prolonged exposure to sunlight,wind, dust, smog and oxidative stress due to environmental factors.
