Why using recycled dog waste bags?
If dog waste bags are disposed of correctly in residual waste, the use of post-consumer recycled material makes particular sense from an ecological point of view – at least as long as fossil raw materials (e.g. crude oil) are used for energy production.
No new petroleum needs to be extracted for the raw material (PE), and recycling PE produces significantly lower CO₂ emissions than manufacturing new granulate. In addition, PE burns without residue in waste incineration, and the high heating value of the material means that a lot of energy can be recovered.
