Churpi is the result of an obsession. A healthy obsession, that of some dog lovers who, tired of seeing the low quality of animal feed products, began the search for top quality foods to offer their dear friends. And this search, which lasted more than two years, took them almost by chance to the high peaks of the Himalayas, where they found Chhurpi, a cheese resulting from a traditional recipe from the area, with a 100% natural composition based on Yak and high mountain cows milk, which have been used in the area for human consumption for centuries. This cheese, dried and smoked for 28 days, becomes a hard and long-lasting snack that delights our pets and is ideal for their teeth and gums, as well as their hair and skin, being recommended for the treatment of all types of dermatoses. This is thanks to its high protein, vitamin and mineral content. Furthermore, as is known, chewing and gnawing are essential for the mental health of our dogs, as they stimulate the release of serotonin. Churpi thus becomes an ideal anti-stress snack, with just 1.5% fat. Its Himalayan origin and its composition make it a hypoallergenic product, highly valued by the veterinary community. Given its exceptional properties, Churpi can only be obtained in those distant latitudes, but we are working hard to avoid environmental impact: recyclable packaging and in the process of obtaining a neutral carbon footprint, at the same time helping small local communities.
