Our journey began when outdoor enthusiast Patrick Kruse embarked on a simple mountain bike ride alongside a canine companion. Identifying a need for high quality, performance-driven dog gear, he founded Ruffwear in 1994, introducing the original packable bowl — a product that is still in line 30 years later.
