The “Innovation made in Germany” Pavilion for young German companies, subsidized by the Federal government, had a very successful debut at the last Interzoo in 2018. This pavilion, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), is already fully booked for the upcoming Interzoo 2022.
Moreover, small and medium-sized enterprises with headquarters and business operations in Germany can receive financial support for their participation as exhibitors at German international trade fairs. The BMWK supports innovative companies that exhibit at selected leading international trade fairs.
With the funding programme, the Federal Government wants to specifically strengthen the export marketing of companies founded in Germany and promote a new start in the trade fair industry. The program started in October 2021 and will run until the end of 2022. Individual participations of exhibitors in selected leading international trade fairs in Germany are supported. For Interzoo, a subsidy of up to EUR 12,500 can be applied for stand rental and stand construction if special conditions are met. This application must be submitted to the BAFA no later than eight weeks before the start of the fair.
