Scheduler to help successfully plan for Interzoo

Long-term strategic planning of your trade fair participation is the best way to ensure success at Interzoo. To help you, we have created a Trade Fair Scheduler that you can download. Even if the exhibition still seems a long way off, experienced and successful exhibitors are already working on their preparations.

A professional planning process can be divided into roughly three phases: preparation, stand operation, and follow-up. The schedule defines all activities in their chronological order, subdivided according to tasks. The time requirement for the various tasks is also calculated. It records all the activities to be planned and their date of completion and responsibilities, including the setup and dismantling times suggested by the organizer. The total time requirement prior to the show is determined by the area of activity that calls for the longest advance planning (stand design, preparation of exhibits, and services). The remaining activities and preparations contain time buffers and can be varied as needed.

Our recommended time schedule for Interzoo participants begins one year before the event and is based on a recommendation by AUMA (Association of the German Trade Fair Industry). It includes all the elements that are essential for a professional and successful trade fair presence. Registered Interzoo exhibitors will be sent a check list with Interzoo-specific deadlines along with their stand confirmation.

Trade fairs – a marketing tool with a broad range of functions

According to AUMA, trade fairs offer by far the greatest range of functions of all marketing tools for exhibitors: They are an opportunity to create business opportunities, cultivate their image, search for business partners, and engage in market research. The same goes for visitors: Trade fairs provide the perfect opportunity to get an overview of the market, compare prices and conditions, test products, discuss application opportunities, and enter into contracts.

Many experts believe that trade fairs haven’t lost any of their importance, even in the digital age. Indeed, according to AUMA, many exhibitors are pursuing even more trade fair objectives than just a few years ago. But maximum trade fair success comes only after the optimal preparation and selection of the “right” fairs – in other words, those that best coincide with one’s own objectives and reflect the global variety of your industry. So for the international pet supplies sector: See you in Nuremberg!
