Finally, a trade fair again! From 10 to 12 November, the world's leading pet industry exhibition Interzoo presented itself with its own stand at Zoomark International in Bologna and with an additional press event. The opportunity to talk to the organiser WZF and the NürnbergMesse organisation team face-to-face again was actively used. Many participants were happy about the resumption of physical trade fairs and the personal exchanges with international visitors. The industry is also already looking forward to Interzoo 2022 from 24 to 27 May in Nuremberg.
On the occasion of the successful restart of the exhibition business, Interzoo hosted a press event on the second day. After a welcome speech by Antonio Bruzzone, Managing Director of BolognaFiere S.p.A., at the launch of the international pet show schedule, WZF Managing Director Gordon Bonnet and Director Exhibitions Dr Rowena Arzt gave an overview of the status and plans for the upcoming physical Interzoo 2022. At a subsequent get-together, further questions from the press and other interested parties present could be answered.
Gordon Bonnet underlined the importance of trade fairs in general and of Interzoo in particular: "We are certain that Interzoo 2022 will be the highlight of the global pet industry’s calendar. The cancellation of Interzoo 2020 due to the pandemic means that 2018 was the last in-person exhibition. The pet industry is eager to resume in-person contact and sees Interzoo in Nuremberg as a way to do this: To present innovations in a hands-on way, find inspiration in the variety of products, discover trends and come together with like-minded people. Apart from a deep-seated feeling that this is the right thing to do, this interaction fosters new ideas and provides a solid basis for making business decisions. It’s what the exhibition experience is all about and it’s something that can’t be designed on a drawing board. That's what we‘re really looking forward to.”
