Wide-ranging supporting programme already starts on 23 May 2022
Markets, trends and industry developments are the focus of the supporting programme at the upcoming Interzoo. In addition to the exhibitors from all over the world, international experts will highlight developments in the pet industry around the globe in the supporting programme. This will already begin on 23 May, a day before the start of the fair, with the Petfood Forum Europe.

This will be an exceptional prelude to the fair and will provide an additional forum for in-depth discussions on the important topic of pet nutrition,” says Dr Rowena Arzt, Director Exhibitions at Interzoo organiser WZF. Steve Akins, Executive Vice President, Publisher, Global Petfood & Events at Watt Global Media, adds: “The cooperation with Interzoo enables congress participants to intensively exchange technical information and, on the following day, enjoy a multi-sensory experience of all facets of the pet industry while doing business. Due to its internationality, the segments it represents and its product range, Interzoo is the perfect environment for Petfood Forum Europe.”
Interzoo also offers an extensive supporting programme during the exhibition period from 24 to 27 May. Regional developments and the specifics of import and export for individual markets and regions are the focus of the Interzoo Country Sessions. The topic of sustainability will be addressed on the first day of the fair in the Interzoo Sustainability Session as well as in other lectures. As at Interzoo 2018, there will be presentations and demonstrations on current industry topics, covering aspects such as market figures, pet grooming, aquarium keeping, influencer marketing, etc.
Following Interzoo 2022, as was the case after this year’s digital edition, some selected contributions from the supporting programme will be made available online within the Interzoo Academy.
