Interzoo Sustainability Session
How sustainable is the pet industry and what can producers and retailers do to increase sustainability? In the Interzoo Sustainability Session, trends and developments in this field will be highlighted and supplemented by best practice examples. The session will start with a presentation by the Sustainable Transformation Lab of the Antwerp Management School (AMS). Ewald Van den Auwelant, Sustainability Transformation Researcher at AMS, will present the results of the latest Interzoo Sustainability Study and thus provide an important insight into the current situation regarding sustainability in the pet industry. This presentation will be followed by industry examples and tips on how companies can become more involved in sustainability, presented by Anne Klein, Member Services Director at the Pet Sustainability Coalition. Finally, Fabien Leroux will report on his extraordinary goal: to swim 4000 km across the Atlantic to draw attention to the issue of climate protection. The session will be moderated by Dr. Rowena Arzt, Head of Exhibitions at WZF/ZZF. At the end of the Sustainability Session there will be the opportunity to exchange views on this topic and to expand one's own network. We will publish additional information on the Sustainability Session here shortly.
