All our wet food is made with human-grade, wild-caught seafood sourced from the Canadian Pacific Ocean and processed at our own federally regulated human seafood facility on Vancouver Island, Canada. We never add any soy, wheat, corn, by-products, preservatives, or artificial flavors and coloring. All the seafood we use goes into the can raw and is cooked once inside the can, locking in all the natural oils and flavors typically lost during the production process, resulting in a difference pets can absolutely taste.

Our wet food for cats comes in four different proteins: Pacific Salmon, Albacore Tuna, Pacific Hake, and Pacific Herring. As well as two different textures: Pate and Minced. Each flavour contains a single animal protein source, making it optimal for pets adhering to a limited ingredient diet.

Pacific Salmon Wet Food: Containing 94% Oceanwise certified wild Pacific Salmon, our salmon wet food is rich with essential vitamins and minerals. Salmon is abundant in the Fatty Acids ELA and DHA, as well as an excellent source of Vitamin D.

Albacore Tuna Wet Food: Our Albacore Tuna Wet Food contains 93% wild-caught, Oceanwise certified tuna. Sourced from the Canadian Pacific Ocean and processed in our own human seafood facility, our tuna is guaranteed mercury safe. All the tuna we use to make our cat food is regularly tested by the Canadian Highly Migratory Species Foundation and has been deemed safe for everyday consumption as it contains little to no trace amounts of mercury. Albacore Tuna is one of the best sources of Omega-3 Fatty Acids which can reduce a number of inflammatory conditions from arthritis to allergies.

Pacific Hake Wet Food: Each can of Hake Wet Food contains at least 81% wild-caught and Oceanwise certified Pacific Hake. Unlike meat, hake is an excellent source of lean protein while also being low in saturated fat. Hake is also a naturally rich source of Niacin, or Vitamin B3. We typically recommend Hake for pets who have never tried seafood before as it has the mildest flavor.

Pacific Herring Wet Food: Our Herring wet food contains at least 85% Pacific Herring and is an excellent option for pets requiring a low-calorie, high-protein option. Because herring contains more natural oils than other fish, it is also excellent for supporting proper digestion in pets, and is especially beneficial for helping cats digest hairballs.

All our wet food recipes are AAFCO compliant for a complete and balanced meal and have been created in collaboration with a leading Canadian pet nutritionist.

Our Nootka Pure line is made with 100% wild caught fish and is intended for supplemental or intermittent feeding only. Our single ingredient products are suitable for both cats and dogs.

Pets should never consume raw seafood, but because we cook our fish once in the can, preserving all the natural oils and nutrients often lost in the cooking process, our Nootka Pure products can pair perfectly with a pet’s raw diet without upsetting their gut biome.

Our Nootka Pure products are made exclusively with wild-caught fish from the Canadian Pacific Ocean and processed in our very own, federally regulated, human seafood cannery on Vancouver Island, Canada.

Wild Salmon and Soft Bones: Containing 100% wild-caught pacific salmon and just enough water for processing, this meal topper is packed with Omega-3 Fatty Acids and Vitamin D. The canning process makes the bones in the salmon soft enough for pets to eat without the risk of choking. These bones make our Wild Salmon and Bones an excellent source of Calcium and a great option for nursing mothers.

Wild Tuna and Soft Bones: This product is the newest member to our Nootka Pure line, and just like the Salmon and Bones, contains 100% Albacore Tuna and enough water for processing. All the tuna used in our pet food is regularly tested by the Canadian Highly Migratory Species Foundation and contains zero to insignificant trace amounts of mercury. This means it is safe for pets to consume every single day. Tuna is one of the best sources of the essential fatty acid, Omega-3.

Black Cod (or Sablefish) Liver Pate: Cod Liver has so many health benefits and is an excellent source of Vitamin A, but unfortunately most pets dislike the taste of Cod Liver Oil.
