Our own dogs were the decisive factor in building a bicycle trailer for dogs in 2011, after we, that is Carmen Cornelsen and Jürgen Arnold, had established the KidsTourer brand of bicycle trailers for children on the market. But we wanted something special, it had to be tailored to the dog. The trailer should by no means be littered with toxins and should contain many functions at once.

This is how our DoggyTourer was born.

The aim of our company is to establish ourselves on the market with innovative, trendy and, above all, safe bicycle trailers and transport boxes for dogs. High-quality materials and the most careful manual production guarantee the highest quality and a far above-average value retention. Our developments always serve the safety, health and comfort of the dogs.

The company headquarters and production site is in Straubenhardt, near Karlsruhe. DoggyTourer is a purely German and high-quality product. Our suppliers guarantee constant controls through DIN EN ISO 9001:2008. This certification serves to prove the quality of our products and services. At the same time, this certification gives our customers the security of a consistent and consistently high level of quality.
Every component on the trailer is sourced or manufactured by German suppliers. For us, "Made in Germany" is not just a designation of origin and a seal of quality, but a matter of course. With the new shape of the side walls and the hood, a cave or cocoon is created for the dog in which it can withdraw and be carried safely and protected on the bike.
