GOTO-Sportwear was founded from love of animal welfare and worry for the future of our planet. We produce durable, responsible and super-recyclable products that are loved by our dog friends ♥

Dog accessories are in hard use which sets tight requirements for all materials used in products. We believe that making products last is part of our commitment to responsibility.

Fabric Made Out of Recycled Materials Withstands Wear

GOTO-Sportwear is part of SEAQUAL INITIATIVE which is a unique collaborative community that works with ocean clean-up programs around the world, raising awareness of the issue of marine plastic pollution and highlighting the heroes who are working to solve it.

We use SEAQUAL® YARN -material in all of our products. It’s made of Upcycled Marine Plastic (70 %) and other recycled plastic waste (30 %). The buckles of our products are made of recycled polyamide.

Every part of our products has been chosen to ensure that they are as responsible and endurable as possible.

GOTO-Sportwear Products Don’t End Up as Waste

Because we don’t wish our products to end up as a burden to our planet as litter, we buy our products back from consumers at the end of the life-cycle of the product or even when the consumer doesn’t have a need for the product anymore.

Repurchased products are sold to new customers or used as a material for new products, depending on the condition of the product.

Achieving this goal requires some effort from our customers, but we have made the process as easy as it can be. Responsibility is achieved through cooperation after all 😉

Responsibility Requires Continuous Development and New Information

We develop our responsible operations continuously. We actively seek information about more durable choices and, for example, aim to minimise the cutting waste further. Our goal is to use 100 % of the materials we acquire. 

Sometimes it’s hard to find responsibly produced and durable materials. In those situations we need to be creative – if you can’t find responsible and durable square tape, you have to make it yourself!

Designed and made in Europe

Our products are designed in Finland and the Isle of Madeira and made in Europe. Our factories are located in the EU and all materials are acquired from Europe.

We’ve made sure that the workers of the factories we use have human conditions and they are paid reasonably. In addition to environmental responsibility we take responsibility for social and economic issues too.
