With its Interzoo Academy, WZF provides a digital service for advanced training in issues facing the international pet sector. Designed in English, the online presentations complement the services offered in person by Interzoo and are accessible worldwide. The expert presentations cover topics that impact the pet sector both today and in the future.

my-fish

my-fish is an interactive internet portal that offers a wide range of services related to keeping and breeding ornamental fish. A portal for beginner, advanced and expert fish-keepers alike, the project was brought to life by the Pet Breeding and Wholesale expert group within Zentralverband Zoologischer Fachbetriebe e.V. (Central Association of Specialist Zoological Companies, ZZF). ZZF is the platform’s conceptual sponsor; it is executed by subsidiary WZF.
The my-fish Kids section explains the first few steps towards setting up your own aquarium in a child-friendly way. “my-fish Kids” provides useful tips and instructions for children who are curious about the colourful underwater world and perhaps would like their own aquarium.

With its annual events ZZF-Forum and ZZF-Symposium, WZF GmbH regularly brings together many industry participants and promotes exchange in the sector.

The two-day expert conference ZZF-Forum is aimed at the specialist pet trade, as well as manufacturers and service providers in the pet sector. Around 150 market participants regularly take this opportunity to refresh their expertise, be inspired by new trends and discuss the latest challenges they face. The Forum is held regularly at the H+ Hotel in Niedernhausen (near Wiesbaden).

The two-day expert symposium hosted by BbT, bpt, TVT AK8 and ZZF is aimed at state-employed and practising vets, as well as specialist pet retailers and wholesalers, those working in production in the pet industry, and other animal experts. The event is recognised by the ATF.

ZF Pet Academy

E-learning for experts who broker, supply and care for pets
Become an expert consultant for animal keepers! The ZZF Pet Academy teaches expertise in how to keep pets and their biology, diet, transportation and care, as well as further aspects relevant to the pet trade, such as hygiene and legal matters. Both online courses and webinars are offered.
The online courses consist of a teaching video, interactive exercises and a quiz to check progress. Once they have successfully answered the multiple-choice questions, participants receive a certificate.
An annual subscription is the perfect companion for sellers of pets and pet supplies, breeders, apprentices in the specialist pet trade, or those who have acquired the additional ZZF qualification.
