In October 1997 PRO PET AUSTRIA Heimtiernahrung GmbH was founded by the well-established pet food companies RUPP FOOD Austria and Concept Pet. The production facility is located in Gastern (Waldviertel) and the head office is based in Pucking, nearby Linz.
Our privately managed meat processing plant is specialized in production and sales of snacks for dogs and cats. By using a gentle drying process these treats are manufactured of deep frozen slaughtering by-products. The snacks are marketed under the brand names of important retail- and industrial partners.
High-quality raw materials, a gentle drying process, as well as a continuously high quality are decisive for a consequent implementation of our philosophy of "achieving maximum palatability for dogs and cats".
In order to meet these requirements condignly we implemented a quality control system according to HACCP in 2002. Since that time we are continuously certified after BRC and IFS.
