MHL, a leading company in the wood and pellet sector, firmly believing in the many peculiarities of the raw material treated and wanting to extend its use to different areas, has promoted an ambitious project of sustainable wood supply chain, with the aim of using it at better the multiple properties, aiming at a production waste close to zero, thus optimizing the productivity and environmental impact of the company. Sensing the growing attention towards the use of natural products to protect and safeguard the ecosystem, and wanting to find an application of wood also in the Pet sector, a growing sector where even today the litter generates considerable quantities of waste that is difficult to dispose of and therefore polluting, MHL has consolidated an important project aimed at obtaining natural pellet bedding, with the aim of obtaining a highly performing, convenient product and above all to protect the well-being of an increasing number of pets. Therefore, thanks also to the collaboration with Enama, a prestigious national body that deals with the control and issue of certifications on wood products (EnPlus in primis) and the University of Padua, selected for the verification, by means of chemical analyzes, of the characteristics necessary for a high quality product, Mhl has managed to develop and produce a totally natural animal litter in wood fiber, with a very high absorption power of liquid and ammonia substances, superior to other natural products on the market, so much to make them acquire the first International Certification on natural litter. The certification obtained by MHL represents a great novelty, extremely important in the definition of the quality targets declared by the manufacturer, which are subject to control and monitoring, in order to guarantee the final consumer customer. The Piripù litter, the first born in the world of Mhl litter boxes, is ideal for cats as it offers a total reduction of odors, and with its highly performing characteristics it is the ideal product to replace the sand and silicon litter, disfiguring for the ‘environment. The Ekuestre litter, on the other hand, was designed to have a highly performing product for the equestrian world, with specific attention to the health of horses and their articulations. Subsequently, the company, seeing the excellent results achieved with the placing on the market of Piripù and Ekuestre litter, extended the range of products for litter use by creating a series of bases for display cases and rectilaries in chipboard, substrates, barks and many others, always remaining faithful to the choice of producing only natural bedding, with zero environmental impact, of high quality and competitive in terms of cost.

PIRIPU' - LITTER FOR CATS AND SMALL RODENTS

The Piripù Natural Litter is a new litter system for cats and rodents that is totally ecological, free from unpleasant odors and without dust. A 100% Natural product made with Fir wood, an excellent natural antiseptic, which does not contain chemical additives, harmful to the health of our pets. Free of fine particles. The particular woodworking process, combined with totally natural substances, have resulted in a highly performing Litter able to naturally reduce bad smells. When the litter gets wet with pee it instantly becomes sawdust, goes on the bottom and releases a natural and very pleasant smell of wood, due to the effect of the lignin in the product, which neutralizes the unpleasant ammonia smell.

On the surface will always remain only clean litter, guaranteeing to our beloved friends always dry paws. Ideally also for a long-haired cat as it does not leave residues. The formidable absorbing power makes Piripù Litter a very economical product, which offers a longer duration than the normal litter on the market.
