From his first trip to this beautiful region of the Himalaya, Robert fell in love with Nepal, where he climbed Mount Everest in 2004.
With more than 30 visits to this amazing country, he quickly noticed during his hikes that the Sherpas and the locals chewed on small hard pieces throughout the day. It turned out to be a healthy, cheese-like snack that the local population has been eating for centuries.
In the United-States, they found that dogs love this Cheese Bone and chew it for hours. It is not surprising that today the Himalayan dog chew has become extremely popular and sold almost anywhere in the USA. In collaboration with Nepalese, he decided to introduce this product to the European market.
This long-lasting chewing treat is now produced in Belgium in an IFS factory based on a traditional Himalayan recipe!
Each Cheese Bone is produced from 99,9% of cow’s milk while remaining lactose-poor.
The milk is processed into cheese, then pressed and dried for more than 3 months. The product is then cut into different sizes according to customers requests.
Coucour Cheese bone/ Himalayan dog chews are 100% natural, vegetarian, gluten-free, low in lactose, high in protein (min 66%) and calcium, made from fresh pasture milk collected in Belgium and favors dental hygiene.
