Jaap Koopman for Pets has had a clear mission since 1965: Strength in simplicity!
Artisan and natural nutrition for your pets, made by people who know what animals need and what they like. Our main aim is not to fill but to really feed your animals with ingredients that keep them healthy and happy.
In recent years we have taken a close look at our organisation, our values and brands. As a result we have relaunched and improved our own products and brands (KonaCorn) and developed a new brand (Sunny Fields). Furthermore, we do not only produce our own brands in our Dutch factory, but we are also a private label manufacturer for a large number of retailers in the Netherlands.
Amongst all these changes, one of our values was of extra importance to us. Because besides caring for our animals, we also care about our planet. We wanted to take serious measures to contribute to a better climate. Therefore, we looked at how we could take our responsibility and decided to make a big first step; to become a 100% climate neutral organisation. After a period of scrutinizing our carbon emissions, we now know the amount we have to compensate concerning our production and distribution. To make sure we can live up to our promise to be a Climate Neutral Organisation, we work together with the Climate Neutral Group.
We are very proud to be one of the first companies to produce climate neutral pet food and hope to set an example. Our next steps will be working together with companies who also share these values, so we can make an impact together!
