Fihumin – experience in animal nutrition since more than 80 years
Fihumin Gesellschaft m.b.H. was founded in 1935 as a company for the production of compound feed and fertilizer. Since 1984 the focus of the company switched completely to the production of private label dry pet food. Due to different influences of the market, the activities of the company have been enlarged and meanwhile Fihumin is shareholder on several companies, to offer the whole range of a full service supplier to develop and produce 100% private label Petfood from the first idea until the final product.

Therefore it’s more than important to have a great support that brings a lot of experience to the R&D department. Fihumin is working with one of the leading specialists in animal nutrition and dietetic. He lectured for more than 14 years at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands and moreover on different Universities like Wageningen in the Netherlands, Indonesia, Jakarta and Thailand and is still working within the worldwide research of veterinary nutrition.
Thanks to this expertise, Fihumin is also one of the leading producers of private label veterinary nutrition for dogs and cats.

International expansion
With an experience in pet food since more than 30 years of development, production, sale and marketing within the German and central European markets on the one hand and a deep scientific knowledge and expertise on the other hand, Fihumin is focusing the international expansion with super premium private label dog, cat and rodent food within the next years.
Eastern European and Scandinavian countries show great potential and are the target markets for that strategy. Indeed other countries are also attractive and highly welcome.
