Defu is a brand of Demeter-Felderzeugnisse GmbH. We are the first producer group of organic farmers world-wide.

We are organic pioneers – our work has been promoting organic and specifically biodynamic agriculture - thus sustainability - for more than 50 years.

Organic out of love for animals: We exclusively use raw materials of the best organic quality for our products, grown and produced according to the strict guidelines of the EU Organic Regulation. We attach particular importance to the sustainable and responsible use of our resources – from farming to processing. Conservation agriculture, appropriate animal husbandry, the shortest possible transport routes and low energy consumption are issues that are close to our hearts.

Demeter-Felderzeugnisse GmbH has won the ‘German Sustainability Award 2021’.

We offer Premium petfood in certified organic quality for dogs, cats, chicken and wild birds. Our product portfolio for dogs includes dry food for Junior, Adult (also Mini and Grainfree) and Senior, as well as various wet food product lines (single protein), a PUR-product line as well as numerous snacks. For cats, we offer – next to dry food and several snacks – a large variety of flavours and packaging options.
