Clydach's award-winning food for dogs: sourcing the finest ingredients from the fields of Great Britain, from farm to bowl.
This is truly British food for dogs. Developed by a young poultry farmer with a passion for exceptional quality pet food. We put pets and pet parents at the heart of everything we do. This means we use the best quality raw materials, have exceptional nutritional knowledge and provide sector leading service.
From Humble Beginnings
Clydach began when 13 year old entrepreneur Callum began selling eggs to friends and family. In just 18 months Callum was breeding over 3,000 chickens a year and converted one of the stables on his farm in Wales into what became a buzzing Chicken food and supplies shop.
In 2015, Callum created his own recipe of chicken feed after studying livestock nutrition.
He then began developing food for other animals and started with dogs. With a network of free-range, Welsh and British farmers, he could source high quality and fresh produce to make an exceptional range of foods.
Clydach is now thought to be the fastest growing brand of natural pet food in recent times!
Our foods are made with responsibly sourced meat fish and poultry from ethical farmers that we know and trust. It’s a must! We carefully select the very best free range/organic produce from the UK.
We then blend the fresh meat with sweet potato, herbs, vitamins and minerals which are gently cooked in small batches.
Only Natural Ingredients
Clydach uses the kind of ingredients you’d have in your own kitchen – nothing artificial, nothing refined. In a bid to create a naturally healthy range of premium quality, ethical pet foods. 100% natural, real food for dogs!
We support those less fortunate than ourselves by partnering with Love Underdogs, who work tirelessly to manage and care for stray dogs in Brasov, Romania.
Clydach are the official Feed Partners to Love Underdogs and we are also the Official Nutrition Consultants to AMP Brasov.
Our head office, farm and production facility represents the very best in earth-friendly manufacturing and these green credentials transfer easily to every bag of pet food we make.
Our combined sites extends to over twenty seven acres, bordering on the River Clydach. At the Group, we have entered into a Habitat Creation & Management Plan which provides major benefits for wildlife including new planting, the creation of wetlands and species-rich grasslands to encourage nesting and foraging birds.
All of our packaging is recyclable, so you help us help the planet too!
Led by the experts
Our lead nutritionist is also our director, Callum Griffiths. As a member of Defra, AMTRA and British College of Canine Studies, he has a fundamental passion for holism and alternative nutrition options.
With his early development working on nutritional rations for livestock and poultry, Callum found a passion for companion animal nutrition at a young age. He is best known for his work in senior dog recovery, large-breed joint management, complex allergy compositions and disease management through nutrient specification.
Clydach is thought to be the fastest growing brand of natural pet food in recent times, but Callum and his team still operate on the fundamentals that Callum lay on day one.
Clydach is available in over 300 stores in 12 countries worldwide. We've won over 13 awards and set the standard for ethics, culture and care in our sector.
