Connolly’s RED MILLS is now delighted to introduce Go Native – their grain-free ultra-premium dog food and treats range. Go Native uses only the highest quality natural ingredients from the most trusted, local suppliers in Ireland. Go Native is also gluten-free, free from GMO ingredients, rich in botanicals and perfect for a paleo-based diet. It’s an exceptional dog food which comes in four varieties including organic salmon and herring from Donegal off the NW coast of Ireland and free-run chicken and duck from Co Cavan and Monaghan respectively. Go Native dog food is mono protein – with 70% meat content including 40% fresh meat, paired with delicious superfoods such as kale, spinach, carrots, ginger, apple, and cranberry. All are fully traceable and sourced from trusted, sustainable, ethical farms and fisheries in Ireland.
By working with only the most trusted suppliers in Ireland, Connolly’s RED MILLS has been able to oversee every step of the journey which they take very seriously. In fact, the process starts at the very beginning of the chain – Connolly’s’ RED MILLS sells seed to farmers in the lush green countryside of Co Kilkenny – not far from their advanced facility. They buy back the grain to make their famous poultry feed – which is in turn supplied to the very same chicken and turkey farms supplying the exceedingly high quality protein that goes into Go Native chicken and turkey varieties. It’s the principle of ‘from farm to kitchen’ in motion. Connolly’s RED MILLS pride themselves on the quality and integrity of their ingredients with ultimately only the best protein, fruit, and vegetables making it in to Go Native. All ingredients are rigorously tested at their on-site laboratory and only the best are selected to make Go Native - and all this happens at one location - Co. Kilkenny, in Ireland which is home to Connolly’s RED MILLS. All steps of the process takes place here – from the creation of recipes, to ingredients testing, to the crafting of Go Native, to manufacture, packing and lastly to transport to pet stores far and wide. To ensure Go Native and all of Connolly’s RED MILLS animal nutrition products always meet their very high standards, they are all made at their state of the art production facility there in Co Kilkenny, and no part of the process is ever outsourced. What’s more, Leader and Go Native are specially packed using CONNOLLY’s RED MILLS’ NFMS process (Nutrient Fresh Management System) to ensure that all of the freshness and goodness remains locked in.
