Our cleaned and dried beef claws are the perfect base material for chews. The claws make easy, long-lasting and fun chews that are effective for teeth cleaning. We deliver beef claws as bulk goods.

For over 100 years, CDS has been a family-run company and is meanwhile managed by the fourth generation. Our business divisions are natural casings, special meat cuts & offal and frozen food services. In Crailsheim in the region of Baden-Württemberg in Germany, the company works with 270 employees on an 40,000 m² operational area. More than 600 employees worldwide generate a turnover of over 105 million euros.

The Hackners have a long tradition in being a market leader in quality and innovation. Right from the outset, the company has been setting benchmarks, particularly in the natural casings sector. Whether with the “SilberPfeil”, that makes filling the sausage significantly easier and more efficient, or with the revolutionary development “SilberPfeil NonStop”, the world’s first welded hog casing. And the company is currently wowing the industry with another world’s first: a pipe and end stopper in one, making sausage production even faster, more efficient and, above all, safer.

Special meat cuts & offal is meanwhile the strongest division of CDS, which has been consistently further developed since the beginning of the 1980s. Currently around 60,000 tonnes of this speciality

are refined in Crailsheim and sold worldwide every year. As a result, millions of people are being given access to safe meat products. A claim that is also backed up by our company philosophy “Mission Meat”: our responsibility for sustainable, careful processing and premium-quality supply of our food products.

As a raw goods supplier of food-grade, high-quality special meat cuts & offal, CDS is also a sought-after partner of the pet food industry. And since 2014, the company has also manufactured Graf Barf raw food for dogs, which with 27 different raw food cubes made from whole pieces of meat and five menu options, is once again setting new standards on the market.

The company’s third business is segment frozen food services. As a system partner, the Hackners also offer a special advantage in this segment: controlled by a computer, individual customer requirements are reliably fulfilled – from the frosting to the collection or delivery. In 2017 a new multilevel box freezer went into operation in order to be able to meet the rapidly growing demand.
