Products of Acrylmed, Przedsiebiorstwo Badawczo-Wdrozeniowe Acrylmed dr Ludwika Wlasinska Sp. z.o.o. (5)
Przedsiębiorstwo Badawczo-Wdrożeniowe Acrylmed has been operating since 1991. For more than 20 years it has been researching specialized preparations for agriculture, industry, HoReCa sector and the general public.
These experiences supported by knowledge of the founder Dr. Ludwika Własińska (14.06.1946 − 20.09.2015) and her passion − breeding Collie dogs, have resulted in the introduction to production of a professional line of cosmetics for dogs. The development and implementation of their formula under the trade name Dr. Lucy Beauty&Care took place in 2006 and has become an important part of production at the plant. Today the brand is highly appreciated by groomers − professionals dealing with cosmetics for dogs.
Why? Because in the development and production of their recipes the authors use the company's policy of striving for maximum quality of end products at a competitive price. Quality is guaranteed by the quality management system − 9001: 2008 implemented at the company.
Continuously raising the bar, the plant is also consistently seeking to ensure the most environmentally friendly production. This is done by the consistent elimination of products dangerous for nature. We are constantly striving to replace them with new ingredients that do not harm the environment. This particular concern about nature is seen particularly in preparations which are in direct contact with living beings, such as care products for dogs.
Like other preparations, our cosmetics are dedicated to a specific group of customers. That is for people aware of the influence of the components used in the production − our valued customers who above all care for the high quality of our products.
This approach has been instilled in the company's employees and management by the author of the company's success Dr. Ludwika Własińska. With our focus on the quality of human resources and their high level of education, today we have an efficient research team headed by Ewelina Depczyńska, a graduate of material chemistry at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
The team has at its disposal a well-equipped research laboratory which develops 15-20 innovative products a year, which are popular on the market or custom-made for customers seeking new solutions. The research has a high implementation ratio (reaching 90 percent).
In her many years of work Dr. Ludwika Własińska specialized in acrylic polymers − she was interested in this topic already during her studies and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and it accompanied her in the entire professional life.
In the years 1979-1989, Dr. Ludwika Własińska worked on acrylic polymers used in medicine. In 1980-1989, appointed by the Ministry of Chemical Industry, she served as the Polish Plenipotentiary for Polystyrene Plastics.
In 1986, she received a scholarship from the Atomic Energy Commission of UNESCO in Milan for her work in the field of methacrylic plastics. Her studies in the field of polymers for medicine have been awarded the Diploma of the Ministry of Chemical and Light Industry as "The best scientific research and development project in the field of chemical industry in 1988" and earned the award of the Polish Dental Association.
In 1987, Dr. Ludwika Własińska was awarded the "Gold Medal of Merit for the Chemical Industry" granted by the Ministry of Chemical Industry for her professional work.
In parallel to the research and implementation work, the company continues the social responsibility policy initiated by its originator. The successes which the employees can boast in this field include long-term support for the Foundation Dr. Lucy. The organization is among other things dedicated to the construction of a shelter for homeless animals in Gaj near Srem. A portion of proceeds from the sale of cosmetics of Dr. Lucy Beauty&Care line is used to support disadvantaged animals.
