Our Anni bicolored sweater has been woven using exceptional quality cashmere and Merino wool with threads from Italian yarn. These very soft and light natural fibers prevent itching and irritation even on the most sensitive skin. They also maintain your dog's body temperature at all times, providing warmth, insulation and comfort. It is inspired by the Berlin artist Anni Albert's fiber works.
We have two stripe combinations: Cocoa/Pergamena and Navy/Camel.
Our Anni sweaters are made in Portugal with 5% cashmere and 95% extra fine Merino wool.

DOGS ARE LOYAL COMPANIONS TO THOSE WITH CREATIVE MINDS.
AT THE PAINTER’S WIFE WE ARE INSPIRED BY ARTISTS WHO HAVE SHOWN THEIR LOVE FOR DOGS THROUGHOUT HISTORY.
THE PAINTER’S WIFE IS A PROJECT DEDICATED TO LIFESTYLE FOR DOGS AND THEIR OWNERS, FOUNDED BY A VETERINARIAN AND AN ART SPECIALIST.
WITH AN ECLECTIC AND ARTY APPROACH, WE ALIGN DOGS’ NEEDS WITH THOSE OF CONTEMPORARY DOG OWNERS.
We are currently present in more than 50 locations in 30 countries across Europe, Asia and the USA.
As dog people, we love to be accompanied by our pet wherever we go because we enjoy their company. It doesn’t matter if we live in the city or the countryside, we share habits and lifestyles.
Committed to Our Dog
Our production team, led by a veterinarian, works so that each one of our products, made with the finest quality materials, are functional and comfortable for the animal, while respecting their needs and morphology.
Committed to the Environment
We cannot consider ourselves to be a 100% sustainable brand, but we actively strive to minimize our environmental waste. Since 2020, we have introduced materials such as recycled polyester from marine waste and organic cotton into our main collections.
Committed to Our Community
We actively collaborate with local organizations that develop animal-assisted therapy programs with dogs for children and the eldery.
Committed to Our Location
Located in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula and on the Atlantic Ocean, we mainly work with nearby suppliers and local artisans in order to develop a km0 production, so we can be sustainable and responsible about the environment.
Committed to Sustainability.
At The Painter’s Wife we are #MORETHANDOGS. We care for our dogs and care for our planet. Our long-lasting products show our commitment to sustainable fashion and make our personal contribution to climate protection. Our commitment begins with GREEN PAW, a project that focuses on sustainability in three main areas: Planet, Product and Community.
Our project’s name is an homage to all the brilliant women hidden behind talented artists, many of them were also artists. XX Century Art History has shown us that dogs are creative minds’ loyal partners, some of them are famous artists, but others are yet to be discovered.
At TPW, we believe that maybe not all of us have an artist inside, but we are sure that all animal lovers are as talented as our loyal companions are.
MERINO CASHMERE WOOL
Our knitwear collection has been woven with exceptional quality cashmere and merino wool with threads from Italian yarns. These very soft and light natural fibers prevent itching and irritation even for the most sensitive skin. They also keep the body temperature steady, providing warmth, insulation and comfort.
Our functional water-repellent technical fabric is perfect for keeping your dog dry and comfortable under the rain and serves as an effective windbreaker during cold weather months.
Our new outwear is produced from GRS certified Recycled Polyester, obtained through the recycling and purification process of plastic waste collected from oceans, fishing nets, and textile fiber waste.
Our cotton collection is made from Portuguese cotton of the highest quality. It is ideal to dress your dog in fall and spring or under a technical garment. Cotton is a natural fiber that protects your pet from numerous external agents such as the sun or pollution.
Our new cotton wear collection is made using GOTS certified Organic Cotton from natural seeds and grown without pesticides or other chemicals. As a result, organic cotton products are safer for both animal and human skin as well as our earth. Regular cotton requires more water, pesticides and degrades the soil over time.
