Stefanplast was set up in 1964. Now with a workforce of 130, Stefanplast is one of Italy's leading manufacturers of plastic articles for the domestic and gardening sectors. Stefanplast has also recently introduced the Peter Pet range of items for household pets.
Stefanplast was based on a simple but effective business idea. The company was set up by founder Antonio Stefani who, in the early sixties, saw the tremendous potential of plastic for making objects of daily use. In 1964 Stefanplast's first products, plastic bottle carriers, were totally innovative. These products were a tremendous success and earned the company the necessary financial resources to invest in further technical developments and organisational growth.
Stefanplast covers a total area of 50,000 m2, with buildings accounting for 25,000 m2. Production takes place in an 8,000 m2 factory. Articles are manufactured using high technology injection presses of up to 3,000 ton capacity, capable of producing even large size parts. Output from the factory is over 13,000 tons of finished product, equivalent to about 20 million pieces, per year.
These figures place Stefanplast among Italy's leading names in the field of injection moulding of plastic parts. The 17,000 mq of fully automated finished product warehousing enables Stefanplast to fill customer orders in extremely short lead times.
Innovative and functional design solutions, attention to detail and shapes. These are the objectives that the Stefanplast designers strive to attain on a daily basis, to create products that improve the quality of life of the users.
An everyday commitment to the improvement of quality and efficiency, aimed to the creation of durable products.
