Interzoo in Nürnberg is the big attraction for the international pet supplies industry every two years. Some 1,500 exhibitors and more than 38,000 trade visitors from all over the world make Interzoo the world’s undisputed leading exhibition for pet supplies. The promoter of Interzoo is Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe GmbH (WZF) and the honorary sponsor is the German Pet Trade & Industry Association (ZZF).

Special offer VGN tickets (Nürnberg regional transport system):
VGN Messetickets are valid for unlimited travel by underground, tram, bus or urban railway in the Nürnberg region for the indicated period of time. Tickets are obtainable from the information counters in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg.

U2 line: airport – city/main rail station (12 minutes)
U1/U11 line: city/main rail station – exhibition centre (8 minutes)

  • Underground
    U2 line from airport to main rail station, then change to U1 or U11 line to “Messe” station at the exhibition centre. Journey time: approx. 20 minutes

By car
The car parks at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg are only a few minutes away from the signed motorway exits. Access in the Nürnberg city area is controlled by the dynamic traffic guidance system.

The journalist’s permit (confirmation from chief editor, publishing details) or subsequently the Interzoo 2012 press card acts as authority to use the press car parks.

Rail travel
By IC or ICE direct to Nürnberg main rail station, then the U1 underground line to the “Messe” station at the exhibition centre. A low-cost event ticket is available for Interzoo 2012 and is valid for travel from 15–22 May 2012.

Admission for journalists

The press centre for Interzoo 2012 is Presse-Center Ost, which will be open from Wednesday (for accreditation). Accreditation on the following days is possible only at the signed counters in the entrance areas of NCC Ost and NCC Mitte.

Accreditation on presentation of suitable proof of eligibility (valid journalist’s permit, confirmation from chief editor, publishing details). Press cards are not issued to employees of publishing house management, advertisement or promotion department, etc. or to relatives without suitable proof of journalistic activity.
